It's raining. It's raining hard. The skies have opened, showing thei might, not angry but reminding us -- this is only a small part of the power of nature, the power that one day, can destroy us all, because of us. We think we can always get back on our feet, the floods will not harm us badly, we'll repare the damages... Always.  Always? Are we not just humans? Aren't our powers limited?

We just need to remember. It is not the storms that run from us, but the other way around. We stay inside, call for help. We can pretend, but pretending isn't true. It's a lie we have wrapped around us, a lie we carry on with to seem strong.

Even our new technology can't beat nature. All our new devices aren't enough for us to truly take control. Venice is still sinking, slowly becoming the New Atlantis. New Orleans couldn't do anything, again the waters and storms took over. Trees deliberately fall on our homes, shattering them. Heat destroys the lives of people in days. The forests wrap souls in them, keeping our fellow humans as examples of their power. And still we carry on our wars, carry on abusing the Nature, not realising that we are nothing to its power.

I'm thankful this rain is a storm without lightning and thunder. I'm glad the wind has not uprooted the roots of the trees that stand in the forest beside my home. I'm at peace that the sea has not swallowed my friends or family, but held it's anger.

Let us enjoy the nature, instead of hurting it, killing it, trying to destroy it. It is our original habitant, we should always remember that. Because everytime that slips our minds, we get a reminder. Lets nourish our home, keep it asa our friend and it will give us protection. And then, after the storm, we can look up to the clear, cloudless sky, hear the small birds chim, and let our dreams and hopes rise towards the Sun.

Snow
